Ohio All-Stars slip past Kentucky, 94-92

Wilmington High School’s Jarron Cumberland scored 15 points to lead Ohio to a 94-92 victory over Kentucky on Saturday in the states’ annual boys basketball All-Star Game at Thomas More College in Crestview Hills, Ky.

The Kentucky squad had a shot to win at the buzzer, but Caverna’s Mason Faulkner missed a 3-point attempt.

Mr. Basketball Carson Williams of Owen County led the Kentucky squad with 18 points. Faulkner added 13 points.

Three players from Louisville competed – Pleasure Ridge Park’s Chris Drabo (five points), Male’s Alex Cook (four points) and Waggener’s Jaalam Hill (four points).

Cumberland and Williams were named game MVPs.
