The 8-and-under Mount Washington softball team won its division at the Babe Ruth Softball World Series this week in Florida, and the team will host a celebration on Sunday behind Mount Washington Elementary School, 9234 Kentucky 44 E, Mt Washington, KY 40047.

The Mount Washington team is one of two from the Louisville area to bring titles back from Florida. The 10-and-under Fern Creek squad rolled to a victory, too.
