McCracken County High School’s pitcher Audrey Dodd has been named 2016 Miss Softball by the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association.

Dodd, a Georgetown College signee, helped McCracken County post a 42-4 record and finish as the runner-up at last week’s state tournament. Entering the tournament, Dodd sported a 17-0 record with a 0.56 ERA. She had 118 strikeouts and 20 walks in 88 innings.

The KSCA also released its All-State teams. While the state does not divide into classes for its playoffs, the KSCA uses a three-class system for it awards based on the state’s track and field alignment.

Player of the Year winners in each class were Madisonville-North Hopkins’ Kaylee Tow (3-A), East Carter’s Montana Fouts (2-A) and Magoffin County’s Hannah Skaggs (A).
