The Male High School girls track and field team is ranked No. 1 in Class 3-A in the latest state rankings from KYTrackXC.com.
The Bulldogs won Saturday’s Johnny Conn Invitational on their home track, getting individual victories from Kaitlyn Lacy (800-meter run), Kirsten Lacy (shot put and discus) and Chimond Vaughn (triple jump). Male also won the 3,200 relay.
Male is followed by three other Louisville schools in the 3-A girls rankings – No. 2 Manual, No. 3 Butler and No. 4 Central.
Also ranked No. 1 in their respective classes are Tates Creek (3-A boys), Paducah Tilghman (2-A boys), Boyle County (2-A girls) and Murray (A boys and girls).
