Why he’s on the team: Dominant linebacker tallied 108 tackles (50 solo), 27 tackles for loss, seven sacks and an interception for a defense that allowed 7.8 points per game and posted six shutouts. Also a solid wide receiver who hauled in 43 catches for 783 yards and 12 touchdowns while helping the Tigers reach the state semifinals for the first time since 1994. One of nine nominees for Kentucky’s Mr. Football award.
