* KCD got its first playoff victory since 2012 with a 21-14 victory at Ludlow last week. The Bearcats rolled up 266 yards on the ground, led by senior Mitchell Collins (five carries, 95 yards, two touchdowns). Collins (465 yards, 6 TDs) is among four KCD players who have rushed for at least 400 yards this season, joining Dexter Walters (544 yards, 9 TDS), Jared Frank (518 yards, 8 TDs) and Ashton Robinson (435 yards, 3 TDs).
* Holy Cross rolled past Dayton 42-0 last week as senior Evan Perry rushed for 170 yards and three touchdowns on nine carries. Perry has rushed for 1,483 yards and 18 TDs this season and is averaging 6.8 yards per carry. The Dayton game marked Holy Cross’ third shutout in its past four contests. For the season the Cougars are allowing 17.7 points per game. Holy Cross beat KCD 34-21 on Oct. 9.
