* PRP: Junior quarterback B.J. Robinson completed 19 of 24 passes for 277 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Panthers – No. 11 in the state in The Courier-Journal’s Litkenhous Ratings – to a 34-10 at No. 18 McCracken County last week. PRP was the only No. 4 seed to beat a No. 1 seed in 45 matchups in the first round of the playoffs. The Panthers lost to Male 46-3 on Sept. 29.
* Male: Senior Deion Montgomery rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries as the No. 5 Bulldogs beat Daviess County 38-7 last week. Senior quarterback T.J. Thomas also passed for three touchdowns and now has 1,928 passing yards and 31 TDs this season. Male is 13-1 all-time against PRP, its only loss coming in 1978 by a 56-8 score.
