Roster set for state team in Best of the Bluegrass all-star game

Forty players have been selected for the Kentucky state team that will face the Greater Louisville squad in the Best of the Bluegrass all-star football game set for 2 p.m. on Dec. 11 at St. Xavier High School.

Frankfort’s Craig Foley is the head coach for the Kentucky squad. The Greater Louisville squad will be announced later this month.

Here is the Kentucky team:

Quarterbacks – Tanner Morgan (Ryle), Walker Wood (Lafayette); Running backs – Trajon Bright (Mayfield), Jamale Carothers (Bowling Green), Kent Phelps (Paintsville); Wide receivers – Keyron Catlett (Christian County), C.J.
