After blazing the way to a crucial third-quarter touchdown and tallying 123 rushing yards in a 14-7 victory over Providence, Holy Cross’ Mario Convenuto has been voted the winner of The Courier-Journal Metro Louisville Athlete of the Week Award presented by Norton Sports Health.
Last week’s other nominees were Sacred Heart soccer’s Cassie Amshoff, Kentucky Country Day’s Jared Frank and Assumption volleyball’s Brooke Moore.
The Metro Louisville and Southern Indiana Athlete of the Week Awards are part of The Courier-Journal Sports Awards program presented by Norton Sports Health.
