Four golfers from Louisville-area high schools are set to compete for the 72nd Junior Fall Cities Tournament titles on Friday morning.
North Oldham’s Mason Lenhart and St. Xavier’s Drew Hinkebein won Thursday to set up a showdown in the boys 12-18 final, while Sacred Heart’s Taylor Edlin and South Oldham’s Molly Bebelaar won to reach the 12-18 girls final at Seneca Golf Course in Louisville.
Edlin reached the girls final with a 3&2 victory over Sacred Heart teammate Sydney Smith, and Bebelaar won 4&2 over Caroline Washle, also of Sacred Heart.
Lenhart advanced with a 3&2 win over Ethan Breeden of Bullitt East, and Hinkebein reached the final with a 6&4 victory over Anuj Chhabra of Ballard.
The boys final begins at 7:18 a.m. and the girls final tees off at 7:38 a.m.
