Mr. Basketball Carson Williams scored 23 points to lead the Kentucky All-Stars to a 121-87 victory over the Junior All-Stars in an exhibition basketball game Thursday at Owen County High School.
Williams, an Owen County product headed to Northern Kentucky University, helped the All-Stars get a victory in preparation for this weekend’s matchups against Indiana on Saturday in Indianapolis and Sunday in Louisville.
Taylor County product and Xavier signee Quentin Goodin added 17 points for the All-Stars. Male product Alex Cook led the three Louisville-area All-Stars with nine points. Bullitt East’s Tyler Sharpe added eight points, and St. Xavier’s Connor McKim posted two.
Christian County’s Jaylen Sebree led the Junior Stars with 18 points.
GIRLS GAME
Miss Basketball Erin Boley, an Elizabethtown product and Notre Dame signee, posted 36 points and 13 rebounds as the Kentucky All-Stars beat the Junior Stars 80-71 at E’town.
East Jessamine product Emma Young added 15 points for the winners.
