Fans voted Trinity’s Brody Heil the winner of The Courier-Journal Metro Louisville Athlete of the Week Award presented by Norton Sports Health.
The junior tossed a three-hitter and struck out three as Trinity beat Ballard 2-1 on Thursday.
Last week’s other nominees included CAL’s Grace Jennings, PRP’s Jalil Akbar and St. Xavier’s Drew Singerman.
The winners will be invited to the year-end Courier-Journal Courier-Journal Kentuckiana Sports Awards Program banquet presented by Norton Sports Health.
