Charles Foster, a 2012 Trinity High School product, has transferred from East Carolina University and will play his senior season of basketball at Kentucky Wesleyan, the school announced Monday.
A 6-foot guard, Foster played 21 games and averaged 2.2 points last season at East Carolina.
“Charles can play the point and the shooting guard spots with a lot of savvy,” Kentucky Wesleyan coach Happy Osborne said. “I expect him to be one of the top defenders and quickest in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.”
Foster was a Courier-Journal first-team All-State pick after his senior season (2011-12) at Trinity. He signed with Morehead State out of high school but attended Lee (Maine) Academy during the 2012-13 season. He played two seasons at Vincennes University before transferring to East Carolina.
Foster will be eligible immediately at Kentucky Wesleyan.
