East Jessamine High School’s Emma Young scored 21 points and Bracken County’s Bailey Cummins added 20 to lead the East to a 101-99 victory over the West in Saturday’s Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches All-Star Game at Transylvania University’s Beck Center.
The game matched some of the state’s top seniors, with players from Regions 1-8 on the West squad and those from Regions 9-16 on the East team.
Campbell County’s Kylie Kramer scored in the final seconds to give the East the victory.
Owensboro Catholic’s Mikayla Berry scored 20 points to lead the West. Male’s I’Liyah Green scored 18 points, and Pleasure Ridge Park’s Carnethia Brown added 12.
