Kentucky Mr. Basketball Carson Williams of Owen County High School is among three players who have been added to the rosters for Friday’s Kentucky Derby Festival Classic at Freedom Hall.

A 6-foot-6 forward, Williams averaged 26.7 points and 10.8 rebounds last season. He has signed with Northern Kentucky University.

Williams joins Auburn signee Jared Harper of Mableton (Ga.) Pebblebrook and Florida State signee C.J. Walker of Indianapolis Arsenal Tech as players added to the rosters for Friday’s game.

Williams, Harper and Walker have replaced Terrance Ferguson (undecided), Jaylen Fisher (UNLV signee) and Mark Vital (Baylor signee).

Williams joins Bullitt East’s Tyler Sharpe and Taylor County’s Quentin Goodin. Sharpe will be a preferred walk-on at the University of Louisville, and Goodin has signed with Xavier. Future UK walk-on Brad Calipari is listed on the White Team with Goodin, while Sharpe and Williams are on the Maroon Team along with Indiana University signees Curtis Jones and De’Ron Davis.

Players will compete Thursday in the Horseshoe Foundation Night of the Future Stars at New Albany High School. The event will start at 7 p.m. and include dunk, two-on-two and 3-point-shooting contests. An autograph session will follow.

Friday’s game at Freedom Hall is set for 7 p.m.
