Butler High School’s Allison Just has committed to play basketball at Spalding University, where her uncle, Charlie Just, is the head coach.
Allison Just, a 5-foot-9 guard/forward, averaged 5.6 points and 2.5 rebounds in helping the Bearettes win the state championship earlier this month and finish the season with a 31-5 record.
Just and Micaiah Bowden were the only two seniors on the Butler team this season. Bowden also has committed to Spalding.
Butler has three juniors who already have committed to NCAA Division I schools – Jaelynn Penn (Dayton), Tasia Jeffries (Saint Louis) and Teri Goodlett (Eastern Kentucky).
