Ballard’s Jake Ramsey may have had the shot of the year in the state Friday night in a regional semifinal between Trinity and the Bruins.
With less than a second left in the Bruins’ regional semifinal game against Trinity and trailing 55-52, the forward took a missed free throw and heaved it from under his own basket, sinking the shot to send the game into overtime.
Trinity, though, survived that shot and won the game, 67-62.
