Looking at seeds for district tournaments

District basketball tournaments will start around Kentucky on Monday, Feb. 22. Here’s a look at how the Louisville-area girls districts shape up entering the final days of the regular season:

21^ST DISTRICT

Pleasure Ridge Park will play at Fairdale on Friday to determine the Nos. 1 and 2 seeds. Holy Cross is No. 3, Valley No. 4 and Beth Haven No. 5.

22^ND DISTRICT

Seeds are set: Butler (1), Doss (2), Western (3), Iroquois (4).

23^RD DISTRICT

Seeds are set: North Bullitt (1), Bullitt Central (2), Southern (3), Moore (4).

24^TH DISTRICT

Seeds are set: Bullitt East (1), Mercy (2), Fern Creek (3), Jeffersontown (4), Whitefield Academy (5).

25^TH DISTRICT

Seeds are set: Manual (1), Central (2), Presentation (3), Shawnee (4), Portland Christian (5), St. Francis (6).

26^th DISTRICT

Male is No. 1, and Brown is No. 4. Assumption will host Collegiate on Friday to determine Nos. 2 and 3.

27^TH DISTRICT

Seeds are set: Sacred Heart (1), Waggener (2), Atherton (3), Seneca (4).

28^TH DISTRICT

Assuming heavily favored Eastern wins at home over Ballard on Friday, these will be the seeds: Eastern (1), Christian Academy (2), Ballard (3), Kentucky Country Day (4).

29^TH DISTRICT

Seeds are set: Trimble County (1), Oldham County (2), South Oldham (3), North Oldham (4).

30^TH DISTRICT

Seeds are set: Anderson County (1), Shelby County (2), Collins (3), Spencer County (4).
