College: Committed to Kentucky but recently received an offer from Alabama and may make an official visit there according to Henry Clay coach Sam Simpson.
Why he’s on the team: Safety led the team in tackles (100) for the third straight season and also had one interception. Saw occasional playing time at running back and finished the season with seven touchdowns (four rushing, two receiving, one kickoff return). Speedster was the Class 3-A state champion in the 100-meter dash as a sophomore with a time of 10.85 seconds.
Coach’s take: “He’s a very unassuming young man, and he’s all about the team more than anything. As good of a player as he is, he’s an even better person. He’s aggressive and fast and strong.” – Sam Simpson
