Elyjah Williams posted 13 points and 12 rebounds and Malik Jenkins chipped in 10 points as Evanston (Ill.) Township beat Fern Creek 72-45 on Tuesday in the Forcht Bank King of the Bluegrass Holiday Classic at Fairdale.
The Wildkits outscored the Tigers 20-7 in the second quarter to take a 38-21 halftime lead and never looked back.
Evanston Township (9-2) advanced to face the Central-Paul Dunbar winner at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the fifth-place game.
Tony Washington scored eight points to lead Fern Creek (6-4), which shot just 37 percent (17 of 46). The Tigers finished 1-2 in the KOB.
