LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Bullitt Central (2-5) upset the host Bearcats (4-2) thanks to a strong performance on the offensive glass. Beth Haven never led in the game. The Bearcats were down by as many as 20 points in the fourth quarter but made a run to cut it to just eight points with under two minutes remaining.

CRESTWOOD, Ky. – Cobe Penny scored 37 points for the Bearcats (4-2), but it was not enough to defeat South Oldham (7-0). The Dragons continued their hot start to the season, specifically from the 3-point stripe. They drained 14 from behind the arc, bringing their season total to 96 in only seven games. Jo Griffin and Aaron Franklin led South Oldham in the game, each topping 20 points.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Shelby Calhoun and Sarah McDonald each posted double-doubles to spark the Centurions (5-0) over Breckenridge Co. (5-2). Calhoun scored 17 points and grabbed a monstrous 18 rebounds, while McDonald added 16 and 10 respectively. Breckenridge Co. neither led in the game nor did they trail by more than 10. CAL was able to hit free throws to stave off any comeback attempt by the Tigers, going 6-for-8 in the fourth quarter.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Fairdale (3-4) struggled to close down the stretch and dropped a close game at the hands of the Bruins (2-4). The Bulldogs were ahead by four points going into the final quarter but relinquished the lead as Iyuna Wilson sparked a Ballard run. Shanice Thomas was able to cut the deficit back to just two points with under a minute remaining, but a turnover on the their final possession cost Fairdale any last chance.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The host Valkyries (5-0) continued their winning streak and were able to force the Eagles (4-1) their first lost of the season by cruising to an 81-50 win. Freshman Erin Toller dominated for the Valkyries with 25 points and five rebounds off the bench. Junior Grace Berger, an Indiana University commit, added 11 points and seven rebounds. Sophomore Mikayla Kinnard scored 10 points for the Eagles.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Golden Eagles (4-2) came out on top against the Tigers (3-5) in the Lady Cat Classic at Waggener High School. Leading the Golden Eagles in points was Jalana Scruggs with 19 points and nine rebounds. Keiana Patterson nearly had a triple-double for the Golden Eagles, finishing with nine points, nine rebounds and seven steals. Maelyn Ridener scored 12 points and had three 3-pointers for the Tigers.
