ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. – With 13 ties and 14 lead changes, the Bulldogs (3-0) batted back and forth as they topped the Titans (3-2). Mickey Pearson had a stellar performance as he scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Bulldogs. Not to be out done, Dominque Turner scored 12 points and 12 rebounds for the Titans.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – C.J. Frederick put up back-to-back 20-plus point performances as the Colonels (5-0) remained undefeated, topping the Yellow Jackets (1-2). Devin Firman kept the game close for the Yellow Jackets as he shined all night scoring 38 points. Firman hit seven threes and shot 45 percent from the field.

CRESTWOOD, Ky. – The Dragons (5-0) had a tough match against the Raiders, (2-3) until they went on a 30-11 run in the fourth quarter, winning 80-60. Devin Young balled all night ending with 29 points, ten rebounds and seven blocks for the Dragons. HIs teammate Joe Griffin also put up numbers, with 28 points six assists, four steals, and five rebounds. Aaron Ohara led the Raiders with 20 points in a losing effort.

LA GRANGE, Ky.The Colonels (5-1) extended their four-game winning streak, as they handled the Braves (3-3) 81-52. The full-court pressure from the Colonels led to 26 steals and caused 33 turnovers. Zach Larimore led the Colonels with 18 points, six rebounds  and shot 70 percent from the field. Andre Brewer also had 11 points and Jackson Gibson had 12 points for the Colones. Zach Tuggle led the Braves with 23 as he hit 13 free-throws in the loss.

TAYLORSVILLE, Ky.-  The Admirals (0-4) remained winless as they fell to the Bears (2-2) 66-49.  The Bears hit seven three point buckets and was led in scoring by Daniel Wheeler and Jacob Nicholas with 12 points.  Sam Conley also had 11 for the Bears.  DesShaud St. Martin 16 points and Jared Southerland 11 for the Admirals.

BARDSTOWN, Ky. — The Tigers fell for the second consecutive night in spite of another stellar performance from Pierce Kiesler. The junior scored 27 points and grabbed six rebounds but it wasn’t enough as St. Xavier (3-2) lost to the Thoroughbreds, 64-55. Brennan Hall led Newport Central Catholic (1-2) in scoring with 23 points, and Luke Moeves had 18 points and five rebounds in a winning effort.

BARDSTOWN, Ky. — The Bruins (3-2) hit nine of 10 free throws down the stretch as they gave Butler (5-1) its first defeat of the season. Trent Wood scored 24 points for the Bruins as Butler played catchup for most of the game. Austin Wise and Marcus Montgomery each scored 12 points

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky.- The Tigers (4-1) won a close match against the Wildcats (3-2) recording their fourth win of the season.  The Tigers were led by junior Jalen Johnson who had 19 points.  C.J. Henangan had 16 and Stephen Cager scored 15 both for the Tigers.  The Wildcats were led by Jacquess Hobbs who scored 20 and Ethan Taylor had 15. .

MCKEE, Ky.- The Knights (2-4) snapped their four game losing streak, topping the Dragons (2-2) 76-55.  The Dragons Cam Maddox put up 24 points and Stephon Franklin had 22.  The Knights were led by Luke Johnson with 29 and Zan Payne was next with 17, in the victory.

PARK HILLS, Ky. — Male (3-0) remained unbeaten in the young season with a rout of the Pandas on the road. Kyra Hogan led the Bulldogs with 15 points and six rebounds, while Emilia Sexton chipped in with 12 points and five assists. Allison Gribben led the Pandas with 13 points. Male was able to use all 11 players on its roster during the game.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Eastern (5-0) kept up their five-game season winning streak, as they topped North Bullitt (3-1) 67-59. Eastern went up 43-26 at halftime, however North Bullitt went on a 11-0 run in the third quarter closing the scoring gap. Mikalyla Kinnard ended with 16 points, three rebounds four assists and two steals for Eastern. Her teammates Natalie Collins had 12 points and Briana Mishler chipped in 14. Kaylie Davis led all scorers with 22 points for North Bullitt in the defeat.

OWENSBORO, Ky. — The Chargers (3-3) returned to winning ways on Saturday with a rout of the Spartans at the Independence Bank Classic. UofL signee Lindsey Duvall led the way with 17 points and Kathleen Scott added 12 points for the Chargers. Amaya Lashley scored 25 points for the Spartans in the defeat.

Lilly Stephenson led all scorers with 22 points for the Toppers and Julia Vogt poured in 12. Alexis Head lead the Colonels with 18 points followed by Madison Clark with 13, and Sophia Head had ten.

HARRODSBURG, Ky. — Freshman Erin Toller scored 19 points off the bench to lead the Valkyries to an overtime victory over the Pioneers. Grace Berger recorded her second double-double of the season with 16 points to go with 10 rebounds and six assists, and Kiki Samsel (13 points), Ashlee Harris (13 points) and Kia Sivils (12 points) all made big contributions for the Valkyries. Allyson Niece scored 25 points for the Pioneers in the defeat at the Titan Classic.
