Several of Kentucky’s top high school football players in the Class of 2017 are scheduled to compete in Sunday’s seventh annual Best of the Bluegrass All-Star Game.
Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. at St. Xavier High School. Tickets are $10.
The game will match players from the Greater Louisville area against those from the rest of Kentucky.
The Kentucky roster includes two offensive linemen from Belfry who are headed to area colleges – Cole Bentley (University of Louisville) and Austin Dotson (University of Kentucky).
The Kentucky squad won last year’s game 40-21, but the Greater Louisville squad still leads the series 4-2.
Oldham County’s Mike Shatzer will be the head coach of the Greater Louisville team. Frankfort’s Craig Foley is the coach for the Kentucky squad.
