Christian Academy of Louisville football player Milton Wright had six catches for 147 yards and two TDs and ran back a kickoff 91 yards for another score in a 44-7 victory over Franklin County, earning The Courier-Journal Metro Louisville Athlete of the Week Award presented by Norton Sports Health.
The other nominees were Assumption field hockey’s Lee Ann Gordon, Male cross country’s Kaitlyn Lacy and Pleasure Ridge Park football’s B.J. Robinson.
The Metro Louisville and Southern Indiana Athlete of the Week Awards are part of The Courier-Journal Sports Awards program presented by Norton Sports Health.
