* Storyline: Crimsons attempt to bounce back from loss to rival.
* Eastern: The Eagles rolled past Seneca 46-6 last week as junior Tavoris Scott had his most productive game of the season, rushing for 178 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries. Senior quarterback J.D. Berger also passed for 101 yards and three touchdowns. Since beating Manual 29-28 in 2003, the Eagles have lost seven straight meetings against the Crimsons, including 35-16 last year.
* Manual: The Crimsons couldn’t get the defensive stops they needed in the second half and fell 27-14 at Male last week. Senior Jaelin Carter had a team-high 71 rushing yards and continues to be the team’s top receiver with 30 catches for 443 yards and four touchdowns. The loss to Male meant Manual will open the Class 6-A playoffs on the road next week at Henderson County.
