Michael Stinnett announced he has stepped down after three seasons as the boys basketball coach at Beth Haven, where he compiled a 50-29 record. His teams won Kentucky Christian Athletic Conference championships in 2014 and 2015.

“I really enjoyed my three years at Beth Haven, but feel I have too much going on at the present time in order to do the job the way it needs to be done,” Stinnett wrote in an email to The Courier-Journal. “I could not have asked for a better group of student-athletes and parents to work with.”

Beth Haven athletic director Paul Frazier has been named interim coach.
