The Trinity boys and Sacred Heart girls soccer teams are ranked No. 1 in the state in their respective coaches’ polls released this week.
Trinity (14-0-3) completed an undefeated regular season Wednesday with a 3-1 victory over Kentucky Country Day. Ranked No. 18 in the nation by USA Today, Trinity will face Seneca at 5 p.m. Monday in a 27th District Tournament semifinal at Waggener.
Sacred Heart was 11-3-1 entering Thursday’s regular-season finale against Bethlehem. The Valkyries will host either Atherton or Seneca at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 27th District Tournament final.
