Sacred Heart soccer player Brielle Heuglin’s MVP-worthy performance in the Cleat Cup has earned her The Courier-Journal Metro Louisville Athlete of the Week Award presented by Norton Sports Health.
The sophomore tallied a goal and an assist as the Valkyries defeated rival Assumption 4-0.
Last week’s other nominees were Holy Cross football’s Max Bearden, Bullitt East football’s Hunter Perdue and Collegiate Soccer’s Cameron Wheeler.
The Metro Louisville and Southern Indiana Athlete of the Week Awards are part of The Courier-Journal Sports Awards program presented by Norton Sports Health.
