It’s the Week 6 Kentucky HS football preview with the C-J’s Jason Frakes and Chris White looking at this week’s monster games in the Louisville area.

BULLITT CENTRAL (4-1) AT NORTH BULLITT (4-1)

* Kickoff: 7:30 p.m.

* Storyline: Battle for Bullitt Cup begins.

* Bullitt Central: The Cougars suffered their first loss last week, falling 34-12 at Spencer County. Junior running back Zac Clark rushed for 116 yards in the defeat. Clark has 630 yards and seven touchdowns this season and is averaging 5.2 yards per carry. Juniors Marc Gartner and Tanner Schmidt have split time at quarterback all season.

* North Bullitt: The Eagles rolled past Marion County 47-18 last week as senior quarterback Andrew Brown passed for 164 yards and three touchdowns. Senior Nate Johnson (Q&A with Nate Johnson) had four catches for 148 yards and three touchdowns and how has seven TDs this season. The Eagles defeated the rival Cougars 47-44 last season. Coach Adam Billings plans to have junior running back Noah Nida back after he sat out last week with a shoulder injury.

* Quotable: “Last year if you stopped Logan James you had a chance of beating us,” Billings said. “This year I don’t know who you think you’d have to stop. We’re not one-dimensional. It’s a fun team to coach when you feel like you can put anybody in at any time.”

* The pick: North Bullitt 34-27.
