* Storyline: Bruins have won three straight meetings, including 48-25 last year.
* Ballard: The Bruins managed just 129 yards of offense (minus-37 rushing) in a 13-0 loss to Manual last week. Junior quarterback Terrance May completed 17 of 33 passes for 166 yards, and senior receiver Jordan Gunter had nine catches for 93 yards. Since rushing for 182 yards in a season-opening win over Oldham County, Ballard is averaging 38.5 rushing yards over its past four contests.
* Eastern: The Eagles were off last week after posting a 33-20 victory at Paul Dunbar on Sept. 9. Senior quarterback J.D. Berger has passed for 845 yards and five touchdowns this season. Junior Bryce Williams (19 catches, 234 yards, two touchdowns) and seniors Lawrence Webb (19-199-1) and Sugar Ray Wyche (18-212-2) comprise a deep corps of receivers.
