Trinity (3-0) tops first Litkenhous Ratings - Shamrocks stay put at No. 19 in USA Today Super 25

The Trinity High School football team is No. 1 in the first Courier-Journal Litkenhous Ratings of the season. The Shamrocks are 3-0 after Friday’s 45-7 romp of Lafayette and will host No. 5 Male (3-0) on Friday.

Trinity stayed put at No. 19 in the nation in this week’s USA Today Super 25.

The Litkenhous Ratings are a computerized formula that ranks all of the state’s teams based on record, strength of schedule and other factors. Games against out-of-state teams are not factored.
