One of the top volleyball players, and a contender for 2016 Miss Volleyball, is receiving national attention.
Sacred Heart senior Paige Hammons was named on Thursday to the USA Today All-USA volleyball team. Hammons, a Florida commit, recorded an impressive 420 kills, 249 digs, and 64 blocks in her junior season, leading the Valkyries to the Seven Region championship. According to USA Today, Hammons spent this past summer with the U.S. Junior National Training Team.
